Yoga 4 All
This all-level class will introduce yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. If you have never tried yoga this class is perfect for you and is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of yoga poses. From beginner to advance , this yoga 4 All is available for everyone wanting to have a better understanding of yoga, posture and meditation.
Yoga : Flow
This all-level yoga flow class works to boost metabolism, build lean muscle, and increase core stability with a steady-paced class focused on linking breath to movement. Instructors create sequences to move the body in every direction and plane to improve balance, strength and flexibility. Classes may include variations of the familiar Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) or have an entirely unique combination of flowing postures.
Warm Yoga Fusion
This all-level class links the postures practiced in a traditional Hatha class intro, or sequence of movements that “flow” with the breath. Flow-based Hatha yoga builds strength, endurance, and a strong focus. Modifications are offered if you are just getting started. Class is held in a heated room to 85-90 degrees.
This all-level yin-style class uses simple, long-held, supported postures to deeply relax breath, mind and body. This encourages the release of deeply held, habitual tension throughout the body. Instructors create sequences that incorporate self-massage techniques using props and your own body weight to further release tension held in the connective tissues. Class is intended to provide an opportunity for meditative introspection and to restore vital energy.
This all-level, slow-paced class, inspired by the Viniyoga tradition of therapeutic yoga, uses simple postures in sequences designed to focus on strength and alignment while soothing the nervous system for a grounding yoga practice. Most sequences include a variety of lying, seated and kneeling postures along with breathwork and meditation. Props, modifications and adaptations are offered to find a variation of each posture that best suits your body.
This all-level yin-style class uses simple, long-held, supported postures to deeply relax breath, mind and body in preparation for meditation. Instructors create sequences that may also incorporate self-massage techniques using props and your own body weight to further release deeply held tension held in the muscles and connective tissues. Rest your body with comfortable stillness in a supported, reclining posture during the second half of class for a meditation practice using guided visualization to help focus and settle the mind. You may want to have extra props for this class including; a pillow, blankets, blocks, bolster, etc.
