In this workshop, we will discuss fascial composition and fascia’s role in the body. Learn about fascial slings, the sensory aspects of fascia, tensegrity, and fascia’s response to training.
Then, get moving as we explore MERRITHEW’s Fascial Movement Variables (FMVs). These include Bounce, Sensory, Expand, and Hydrate. We will perform several exercises from each of the four FMVs and check in with our bodies along the way to see if we can sense the differences before and after completing the exercises.
